DAY 01Gateway → Nyerere
Fly into Nyerere and settle into camp. Depending on flight timing, begin with an afternoon game drive or riverside experience.
DAY 02Nyerere River & Wildlife
Explore Nyerere by vehicle and, where included, experience the Rufiji system by boat. Look for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, birds and other wildlife.
DAY 03Full Day Nyerere
A flexible day for game drives, river activities or authorised walking experiences, according to the confirmed programme.
DAY 04Nyerere → Ruaha
Fly onward to Ruaha. The landscape changes dramatically as the drier southern wilderness opens around the Great Ruaha River.
DAY 05Full Day Ruaha
Explore river corridors, open country and baobab landscapes. The day can focus on elephants, buffalo, predators, kudu and photography.
DAY 06Full Day Ruaha
Continue exploring with your guide, following wildlife movement and the conditions of the day.
DAY 07Ruaha Wilderness
A final deep-wilderness day can include game drives and, where authorised and arranged, a walking experience.
DAY 08Ruaha → Gateway
Enjoy a final morning drive before your onward flight. Zanzibar can be added as a separate coastal chapter.
